3 Spring/Summer inspired nail art designs, that are easy to do for everyone!

Hello everyone, this is unusual posting on a Monday for me, as I normally post on the Sunday but as it snowed again ( meh, over it now aye-where are you Spring ) and this post is aimed towards Spring/Summer as you can tell from the title, I thought I would leave it for yesterday and try today. As, for today's post, as you know it is nearly meant to be Spring, I wanted to do 3 easy Spring/Summer themed nail art designs that anyone can do, even beginners.

I love nail art as you can probably tell by now, and even though the more detailed designs are so beautiful, I do love a really simple nail art design, as just something little on the nails can just make a big difference to the overall look of your nails. If you have never attempted doing nail art before or love trying it out, I hope this inspires you all a little.

These 3 nail art designs can pretty much be used at anytime of the year to be honest, just change up the colours to suit the season. But as it is coming into Spring/Summer, I wanted to use more pastel / brighter colours for these nail designs today.

Polishes I am pretty sure are by Ciate!
The first nail art design that anyone can do, is simply the classic polka dot design or dotticure manicure. These are normally done with dotting tools, as you can get different sized ones in a pack to choose different sized dots, but if you don't have them or want to go out and buy them, then you can easily just use a bobby pin or anything shaped in a circle. The good thing with the dotty design, is that you can just do dots however you like over the nails, as there are so many designs to do with them, but for today's one you can just see a simple all over design. This is pretty explanatory to do, just choose what size dots you want to do, drop a bit of polish onto some paper etc so you have a blob and then dip in the dotting tool and dot away onto the nails. Get creative and do what ever dotty design you would like, as there are so many options.

Products used- Base colour: Nails inc 'Life Hack', / White polish from Avon for flowers.
The next design is a simple flower nail art design. Again the flowers can be done in many different ways, but to start of with I wanted to show the most basic way, which if you have done the first one, it is pretty similar as your just dotting again but in a flower shape. You just need to decide how big you want the flowers to be and where to on the nails you want to place them etc, and then just dot on 5 dots in a circle shape creating the flower. I normally dot on the petal dots in one colour and then dot a final dot in the middle with a different colour, but again you can do it all the same colour as it's up to you and the fun of nail art. In the flower picture above, I did dot a different coral shimmer colour in the middle, but didn't quite come up on the picture. But really love how this design just adds so uch more to the nails.

Products used- Lilac polish: Nails inc 'Lexington Gardens, / Pink polish: Jessica nails 'Ocean Bloom'!
The last design, is not really a Spring/Summer themed design but using Spring/Summer colours to fit the theme. It's a simple half & half design with a little dot in the center of the 2 colours. I really love how this design looks. I normally do this freehand but you can always use a template to get the half and half completely straight if you wanted too. I normally do this design by painting on the lighter of the 2 colours first, doing 2 coats of it, wait for it to dry. Then go in with the darker colour, painting over half the nail with it, I usually mark out the line a little bit first, then fill it in-do 2 light coats of this too. Then dot the center of the line with your colour of choice. If you wanted to add something more to this look, you could always do the dots all across the nail on the line of the 2 colours too.

Hope you all enjoyed the post and maybe has inspired you to try something new out for Spring time.Let me know in the comments if you think you will try any of these simple nail art designs out and which one you would love to try? As I would love to know.
